Downtown Harlingen hosts the Harlingen Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 3 – 4 PM. Stop by for healthy, locally grown and freshly harvested FOOD. That’s all, just food. The Market is located on “A” Street between Jackson and Monroe, behind Grimsells and in front of New York Deli.

Numerous larger-then-life-size murals brighten the streets of Downtown Harlingen and decorate walls inside businesses.  Most depict aspects of Valley history and culture including a 20’ tall tribute to Harlingen’s most famous resident, the late Bill Haley, Grandfather of Rock ‘n Roll. Downtown Harlingen hosts Jackson Street Market Days on the first Saturday of every month from 9 AM – 4 PM.  Here you can shop for treasures at an old-fashioned, open-air street fair with antiques and collectibles, crafts, produce, and food vendors. The event is Free, open to the public and features live entertainment.
